Behavior Techician Credentialing




This information is for those who we are actively working to credential as an RBT and Florida Medicaid Provider
Step #1 - Complete 40-hour RBT Course
You will need to complete the 40-hour RBT course that is approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
You will find a FREE course sponsored by the Autism Partnership Foundation. You can find many other courses that charge a fee including these: Florida Tech, University of South Florida, and Relias Academy.
Step #2 - Schedule Your Background Check

Step #3 - Schedule & Complete RBT Competency Assessment
Call our office at 321-342-9100 to schedule your RBT Competency Assessment.
Step #4 - Register with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
Step #5 - Take and Pass the RBT Examination
The Behavior Analyst Certification Board will notify you how to schedule and take your RBT Examination after you complete your registration.
Step #6 - Take AHCA and APD Certifications
You will need to take certification classes with the Agency for Health Care Administration and Agency for Persons with Disabilities. Call us 321-342-9100.

Step #7 - Complete the Florida Medicaid Provider Application
We will assist you in completing the Florida Medicaid Provider Application. You will need to provide us with the documents listed below. Please call us at 321-342-9100.
Documents Needed: 1) High School Diploma or GED, 2) College Degrees (if any), 3) Driver's License, 4) Social Security Card, 5) 40-hour RBT Course Completion, 6) Background Check, 7) BACB RBT Certificate, and, 8) AHCA and APD certificates
Step #8 - Complete the Final Employment Application
After you have received your RBT certification and your Florida Medicaid Provider number, then we need you to complete your Final Employment Application. It is important that you provide us with complete and accurate information.
